To augment the comprehensiveness and usability of research data, DShare employs descriptive metadata, meticulously documenting and characterizing each research data object.

- User-Friendly Interface: DShare boasts a user-friendly interface designed to streamline the data sharing and publishing process, enhancing accessibility and ease of use for researchers.
- DOI Registration via DataCite: Researchers can register Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through DataCite, ensuring persistent and citable references for their research datasets.
- Handle Assignment via MISADI Registration Authority: DShare offers the capability to assign handles through the MISADI Registration Authority, providing unique and persistent identifiers for datasets.
- Dublin Core Metadata Support: Leveraging the Dublin Core metadata schema, DShare ensures standardized and interoperable metadata provision, thereby enhancing the discoverability and interoperability of research data.
